Desiree is from Lexington, NC and relocated to Harnett County after graduating from East Carolina University in 2006. She obtained a B.S. in Health Fitness Specialist. While at ECU she worked as a teacher’s assistant and tutor for Elmhurst Elementary and an After School Mentor for the ‘Growing up Fit’ program. Once she graduated she decided to incorporate her work with children and her degree by becoming the Assistant Program Director for CHANGE for Children at the Goldsboro YMCA.

While at ECU she realized the importance of massage. In 2008 she was given the opportunity to change her career path. Therefore, she attended Johnston Community College, completing the requirements for the Massage Therapy program. In 2009 she became licensed. Once she was introduced to Deep Tissue and Sports massage she knew she had found her niche. She is continually learning to ensure that the Weekend Warrior, professional athletes and the everyday clients reap the many benefits that Massage Therapy has to offer.

Integrative Massage

Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries.

Bamboo Fusion

In Bamboo-Fusion Massage, warm pieces of bamboo of different shapes and sizes are used to provide Swedish or deep tissue massage. The warmth melts the outer layer of muscle, allowing the therapist to penetrate more deeply without as much pressure. For those who like deep work, the bamboo tools allow for deeper pressure than the hands alone can provide. The massage satisfies two major needs: relaxation and well-being.

Corporate Chair Massage

Chair massage is a good reward for employees and can also be part of a corporate wellness program. There are many benefits to chair massage in the workplace.  The massage is for the back, neck, shoulders, and head.

Corporate and event massage arrangements may be initiated by online contact or by phone.
